Savage Rift
Savage Rift is a tower defense game where you must protect your ‘Sealed Tower’ from the seemingly endless waves of monsters.
Monsters appear periodically and charge towards the sealed tower.
The participating Adventurers need to protect the tower by defeating these monsters.
▲ Protect the sealed tower from the monsters flooding out of the rift!
Any character level 56 or higher can enter the Savage Rift.
Go to ESC → Savage Rift to see the current status of the Savage Rifts or to join one if available.
(Savage Rift is available on all servers excluding: Olvia, Arena of Arsha, and - 1 server of each region)
Savage Rift can have up to 10 Adventurers and it automatically starts once 8 Adventurers enter. Additional Adventurers can enter before stage 4 starts.
If you are in a platoon that has less than 10 members,
the platoon leader can enter the Savage Rift in their current server,
then all the platoon members can enter it as well.
However, if the leader enters a Savage Rift in a different server, then only the leader can enter it.
The monsters will attack for 30 minutes in 25 to 26 stages.
They will continue to appear unless all Adventurers are wiped out or the sealed tower is destroyed.
The monsters get stronger as the stages progress.
Boss monsters like Red Nose, Giath, and others appear in certain stages.
You have a chance to get rare items if you defeat these boss monsters.
Spend Points to Achieve Victory!
It’s possible to fight these monsters with your character’s own skills, but the monsters become much stronger in the later stages.
You will obtain a certain number of Savage Points by defeating monsters.
These points are crucial and should be spent wisely.
Use the points you earn from defeating monsters in the earlier stages to buy Savage Rift items.
You have a great variety of items to choose from. You can buy HP potions, matchlocks, barricades, cannons, flame towers, hwacha, and other items. You will need to use items effectively to defeat the monsters as they progressively grow stronger.
The best item for the earlier stages is the matchlock.
You will need a total of 30 points to get both 1x [Savage] Matchlock and 1x [Savage] Matchlock Ammo.
Try to earn 30 points as soon as possible to buy them.
Getting a matchlock can help you collect points faster since it only takes 2 shots from the matchlock to defeat an Imp Soldier.
▲ Adventurers that get the matchlock early will get ahead of the others without a matchlock.
In Savage Rift, cooperation is key to secure victory.
You can choose to transfer your own points to other Adventurers, as sometimes it can be a good idea to transfer your points to someone else so that they can buy a flame tower or hwacha early.
Items bought in the Savage Rift can only be used in the Savage Rift.
TIP. 1
It’s important to spend your points, but keep some points on hand.
That’s because you cannot resurrect yourself in the Savage Rift.
A team member must use a [Savage] Medical Kit to resurrect dead Adventurers.
(Witch and Wizard cannot use their resurrection skills here)
if your entire team dies then the Savage Rift is over, so be sure to either have enough points to buy a [Savage] Medical Kit or to buy one in advance and keep it on your character at all times.
▲ Using a medical kit can be the difference between victory and defeat.
All dead Adventurers will resurrect without the aid of medical kits if the platoon defeats the boss monsters in stages 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25.
TIP. 2
Savage Rift doesn’t only have grounded monsters.
Harpies appear in stages 8,13, 18, and 23.
They can’t be hit by regular attacks as they will fly outside the reach of such attacks.
You must have a [Savage] Matchlock and [Savage] Matchlock Ammo to defeat them.
Otherwise, you will have to watch helplessly as their attacks rain down on your sealed tower.
[Savage] Matchlocks are not only useful against harpies, but also to quickly eliminate monsters in the early stages.
TIP. 3
It’s also important to block the monsters’ path.
Install [Savage] Barricades then place flame towers, hwacha, and other defensive structures behind them.
It becomes harder to defeat the monsters quickly in the later stages, so installing barricades becomes increasingly important.
You can buy [Savage] Iron Ingots to upgrade the installed barricades to [Savage] Iron Barricades.
The iron barricades are sturdier than the regular barricades making them useful to easily hold back powerful monsters in the later stages.
▲ Barricades are crucial in the later stages.
▲ Let’s use flames towers, hwacha, and other defensive structures to make an effective defense.
Savage Rift Rewards
Savage Rift has a total of 26 stages, and upon finishing the 25th stage, there is a 40% chance the 26th stage will begin.
However, if the 25th stage boss is the Saunil Siege Captain, there is a 100% chance the 26th stage will begin.
It ends if you successfully protect your sealed tower from all the monsters in the final stage or if all of your team members die.
Your rewards are sent to your in-game mailbox after the Savage Rift ends.
The rewards are based on the highest stage you’ve completed.
You’ll receive different amounts of Combat EXP, Skill EXP, and silver depending on the number of completed stages.
Silver is rewarded if you’ve completed at least stage 4 or higher.
Combat and Skill EXP are rewarded if you’ve completed at least stage 10 or higher.
e.g. If your sealed tower gets destroyed or your team gets wiped out at stage 8, then you will receive the rewards for completing stage 7. You must survive the respective stage to receive the reward. If you are dead by the time Savage Rift ends, then you’ll get the reward for the last stage you were still alive.
You’ll be rewarded different amounts of silver depending on how many Savage Points you’ve earned. This means you won’t get any silver if you have 0 points even if you survive till the end.
You won’t receive any rewards if you leave the Savage Rift before your sealed tower is destroyed or if your team is wiped out.
Also, you won’t receive any rewards if you failed to earn any Savage Points of your own.
Savage Points transferred to you do not count as points earned.
You should always try to earn at least 1 point in the early stages.
Remember, you’ll get rewards after completing stage 4 or higher.
This means you need to get to at least stage 5 to receive any rewards.

▲ You’ll get a different % of silver depending on the Savage Points you’ve earned.
Silver rewards are sent after the Savage Rift ends. The amount of silver rewards you receive depends on the number of Savage Points you’ve earned.
e.g. If you’ve earned 165 Savage Points then you will receive 96% of the silver rewards.
But wait, there’s more!
You’ll also get the “Savage Rift Reward Box” sent to your in-game mailbox if you defeat boss monsters while protecting your sealed towers. You have a chance to get items like ‘Bheg’s Gloves’ and other yellow-grade Boss Armor, Serap’s Necklace, Mutant Enhancer, and other items by opening these boxes.
